Morecambe Bay Academy Art Exhibition

The Annual Art exhibition at Morecambe Bay Academy has exceeded all expectations this year; students have been creative and innovative with both the materials they have used to create their art work as well as the size and scale of both their paintings and their sculptures. Art work from Years 11, 12 and 13 is on display in the Art department as well as around the school. This year students have completed courses in Fine Art, Ceramics and Photography. The variety of work on display demonstrated the talent and creativity of the students as well as their willingness to take risks and work with new and interesting materials. In addition to traditional drawing and painting, students have been making sculptures from clay and recycled materials. The quality of the work was impressive and enhanced by display in the Art Block.
