National Careers Week 2024

This week we are celebrating National Careers Week, this is a perfect time for all of us to raise the profile of Careers within school. We have lots of activities happening throughout the week to help highlight the importance of Careers Education Information, Advice & Guidance (CEIAG) and to help our students start thinking about their future and the possibilities available to them. Assemblies will have guest speakers and form time and lessons will have a careers theme. Please see below the plan for the week.

Monday 4th March
Year 7 assembly – Employer talk

Year 8 assembly – Green careers
Cv & application form session 3.15pm – 4.15pm (Library)
 
Wednesday 6th March
Year 9 assembly – T Level talk
Work Experience drop in over lunch (Library)
 
Thursday 7th March
Year 10 assembly – NHS careers talk
Cv & application form session 3.15pm – 4.15pm (Library)
 
Friday 8th March 
Year 11 assembly – University talk – raising aspirations
 
Careers Fair 
Friday lunch time we are hosting a mini Careers fair in the Library, we will have colleges/universities/training providers and employers on hand to offer students advice & guidance about future pathways.
